Are Tax Payers Being Heard to? December 19, 2007

It has been just less than a week as the roads in the Crawford area in Tiruchchirapalli(Tamil Nadu) had been laid. The rain has exposed the quality of roads being laid here. There are pot holes everywhere and the bitumen gravel mixture has given away, exposing the ground below.Moreover the roads lay dug out in other parts of the city making travel difficult within the city while, the rain has worsened the situation by filling the gaps with water.

The inadequacies of the drainage system stood exposed as sewage from open drains mixed with rain water in several areas.

Is this what the Goverment wish for the people who pay their taxes for their own welfare? Does the Government wish to make profit out of the Tax Payers.
